Jo Malone is a perfumer born on November 5, 1963, in London, England.
In 1990, Jo founded the infamous perfume brand, Jo Malone London.
However, in 1999, Jo sold her company to its current owner, Estée Lauder Companies, for “undisclosed millions.”
She later opened another fragrance brand called Jo Loves in 2011.
Who is Jo Malone’s son, Josh?
Throughout her career, Jo Malone welcomed a son named Josh.
When she was working with Estée Lauder, Jo made the decision to leave the company to take care of her son.
She said: “My only child, Josh, was five, and I wanted to be there each morning when he left for school, for each school pick-up, for each sports day, and for each family dinner. What I wanted, I decided, was to invest my time in him, not the business.”
Now, Josh is 22 years old and studying near Eastern languages and civilizations at Harvard University.
Additionally, Josh competes on the fencing team at his university.
Is Jo Malone married?
Jo Malone, met her husband Gary Willcox when she was only 19 years old.
At the time, Gary was a former surveyor but decided to work with his wife when her company started to take off.
The two eventually tied the knot in 1985.
In 2016, Jo Malone released an autobiography called My Story where she speaks warmly about her husband and the support she’s received throughout her career.
