FIVE police officers have been shot in an altercation on Thursday morning.
The Benton County Sheriff’s office reported the incident took place at a home just west of Princeton, Minnesota, around an hour north of Minneapolis.
Five officers assigned to the Sherburne County Drug Task Force were transported to the hospital after sustaining non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect, identified as 64-year-old Karl Thomas Holmberg, was arrested at the scene.

Holmberg was injured before he was detained, sources told the Star Tribune.
He was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
Police scanner audio captured a barrage of bullets just before 7:15am followed by officers screaming, “Shots fired!” and “Officer down!”
Deputies from Benton and Sherburn counties were present on the scene for undisclosed reasons.
Minnesota State Patrol squads and SWAT vehicles are also providing support.
Benton County Sheriff Troy Heck said there is no danger to the public but urged residents to avoid the search area.
