Biden, 80, was able to catch his balance and continue on with the event after the mishap.

During his speech, Biden – who was dressed sharply in a suit, tie, and black Ray Ban aviator sunglasses – talked about his economic plans for the U.S.

“I truly believe this country’s about to take off, and for the first time in a long time, we’re actually investing in America. We’re investing in Americans, not just America,” Biden said.

He then joked that he’s been around for awhile – and has never been more optimistic about America.

After he addressed the crowd, Biden was able to exit the stage safely without stumbling.

He held onto a metal railing to walk down the steps.

This isn’t the first time Biden has stumbled on camera.

He also fell to the ground after tripping on a sandbag at a Coast Guard graduation in the spring.
