A female delivery driver from Florida was brutally attacked by a vicious German shepherd when dropping food at a customer’s front door.

Diana Riveros, a mother-of-three from South Florida was making an Instacart delivery on October 6 in Cooper City when she faced a surprise attack.

The attack came from a huge German shepherd that shoved its owner out of the way as it escaped the house and mauled Riveros in a shocking ambush that was caught on camera.

The violent dog scarred Riveros and left her needing to get over 30 stitches on her arm, hand, foot and leg.

Riveros told NBC6 she can’t sleep after the attack because she wakes up in fear of the dog that attacked her.

The harrowing video showed the dog launch at the innocent Instacart employee and push her to the ground while the owner tried to control the canine by throwing herself on top of it.

Riveros returned to her car where she called the police with bloody and shaky hands as she screamed ‘help me’ down the phone.

She was rushed to the hospital for surgery where she was given over 30 stitches for the injuries.

The Instacart employee won’t be able to return to work for several weeks, which leaves her without an income and unable to make money before an unrelated life-or-death surgery.

Riveros said: ‘Lock your dogs because we are the ones who are gonna be affected you never know how a dog is gonna react with certain people.’

Instacart is an American delivery company based in San Francisco that operates a grocery delivery and pick-up service through a website or app.

‘Our teams have reached out to Ms. Riveros to provide a number of support services and ensure her well-being and safety following this incident,” a statement from Instacart read, in part. “We have also provided details about our shopper injury protection offering, which is insurance designed to protect shoppers’, the company said in a statement to NBC6.

This isn’t the first time one of the company’s employees have been caught up in their customer’s dangerous drama.

In 2022 an Instacart worker shared how she probably saved a customer’s life by alerting them about a potentially deadly propane gas leak in his house.

Jessica Higgs, who delivers groceries for the delivery service, broke down in tears in her viral video as she opened up about how she followed her gut instinct and went against company policy to help the man.
