Naga Munchetty gave signals of a possible ‘feud’ with her BBC Breakfast co-host Charlie Stayt on Saturday morning.

On today’s edition of the BBC programme, the pair were discussing the cold weather and Charlie said he planned to stay at home to watch The Rugby World Cup.

He shared: “I want to watch the rugby. It’s that thing, staying indoors when it’s nice outside.

“But I don’t think that’s a worry right now is it.”

However, Naga was quick to disagree with Charlie and insisted that it would be sunny later on.

She asked the weather presenter to double confirm that there would be sunshine, to which Charlie said: “You’re right Naga.”

The 48-year-old then laughed and said: “Look at you mediating between us. It’s a part of the job isn’t it.”

This is not the first time that frostiness has been spotted between the pair, as earlier this year Charlie went off on a massive rant about binoculars.

In March the duo were talking about a massive asteroid, dubbed ‘The City Killer’ because of its size, which was passing by Planet Earth and the Moon that weekend.

After speaking to astronomer Dr Jeni Millard about the news, Charlie and Naga started chatting about whether you can see the asteroid with binoculars.

However, Naga pointed out that the scientist said that you can’t see it in the Northern Hemisphere.

Despite this, Charlie replied: “Well, maybe if you had massive binoculars. I think you can, actually? I like binoculars, actually!

“I think you can get incredibly powerful binoculars. Binocular technology has leapt on a lot – you know you used to get these tiny binoculars and they’re now huge!”

During this bizarre ramble, Naga Munchetty looked completely lost for words and awkwardly looked away from the camera.
