SHOTS have been fired at the Texas State Fair.

Reports of shots fired came in just after 8pm on Saturday. One suspect is currently in custody.

The fair was evacuated by state police, and at least two individuals are confirmed to have sustained injuries.

Multiple witness accounts were posted to Twitter of fair enjoyers running away from the gunshots.

“I was at the Texas State Fair just now,” Dylan Early posted.

“I was steps away from where the shooting happened.”

“My friend and I had to SPRINT to be the last ones to catch a train out of the fair grounds.”

The fair also posted a warning on their Twitter of the evacuation.

“This is a State Fair Emergency Order. @dallaspd is investigating a shooting at the State Fair. The park is being evacuated. Please avoid the area.”
