The LA gangster accused of the murder of Tupac Shakur wants to be famous and is “enjoying the limelight” of being embroiled in the “biggest case in Las Vegas history”, sources have told The U.S. Sun.

Duane “Keefe D” Davis is due to appear at court in Las Vegas for a plea hearing today.

The sources claim that “Keefe appears to be ready to become famous” and “may even be looking forward to gaining notoriety with the high-profile court case.”

Prosecutors are confident they have enough evidence, both from his own words and investigations, to convict him of Tupac’s murder in a trial, which is likely to take place in 2024.

One Las Vegas source revealed: “Keefe has an extraordinary attitude to this whole case.

“Obviously being cuffed and put in protective custody is not ideal, but the attention he is getting from this matter is something he is thriving on.

“There is definitely a sense that Keefe is loving the limelight and boasting about his role as a major gangster figure in LA.

“Whatever happens in court, It is clear that he feels that he was free to discuss the murder because of a deal with LAPD, that has always been his argument.”

One Vegas friend of Keefe added: “Look Keefe knew that Metro Police wanted to go after him and he knew that he would be arrested and charged.

“But somewhere in his mind he believes that he can get free and perhaps sell books and even a movie about his life.”

COURT HEARING

Video cameras captured Davis’ two minute court appearance on October 4.

Body cam footage released from his arrest by Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department revealed that self-confessed drug dealer Keefe D was bragging about the crime, despite facing a potential life sentence in jail moments after being shackled by his arms and legs.

Unfazed Keefe even bragged: “I don’t give a s***”, and “I ain’t worried” about the case.

Sat in a police patrol car close to the police headquarters Keefe spoke with a police officer driver.

‘BIGGEST CASE IN VEGAS HISTORY’

The cop asked: ‘What they got you for man?”. Keefe replied: “Biggest case in Las Vegas history”, Asked if was recent, he responded: “September 7 1996.”

Hip-hop legend Shakur was gunned down four times aged 25 in a drive-by attack in Las Vegas.
