A POPULAR parenting TikTok star has revealed that her daughter’s father has unexpectedly died.

PerfectlyKelsey shared the news on Monday with her nearly 2.5 million TikTok followers that her daughter Kobe’s father passed away leaving them both “heartbroken.”

Kelsey Pumel, 35, is a well-known social media personality and influencer who makes vlog-style content that often features her husband and five children.

“Please keep Kobe in your thoughts & prayers tonight as she works through grieving this incredible loss [broken heart emoji],” she wrote in the caption for the video.

A teary-eyed Kelsey announced in the video: “Kobe’s dad died. So we’ve had a bit of a rough day.”

She did not provide any details on his passing and said: “I am not ready to speak on what happened.”

But she did share that she’s “currently in the ‘anger phase,’” adding, “I’m so angry with him.”

“I did everything right so [Kobe] wouldn’t have any trauma and he just left her with a lifetime full of it, and I can’t protect her from this,” she said while sobbing.

Kelsey shared that Kobe was aware that her father had passed away, saying: “She knows. We’ve talked about it. And we are working through it.”

The mom explained that her daughter’s grief was coming in waves so she would be home from school for a few days so that the two of them could “just be together.”

“I just want to be there when the waves come,” said Kelsey.

As for the rest of her family, Kelsey said she had told them to proceed as normal “and I’ll do the rest.” She added that she thinks “keeping everything consistent will help.”

Kelsey said Kobe would get anything she asked for because it was a “yes day.”

She also shared a few stories on her Instagram that showed Kobe playing in her playroom with her mom, stepdad Curtis Woods, and her baby sister.

The mother-of-five has previously opened up with her followers about her experience with having to share custody of Kobe with her ex.

The two had had difficulty co-parenting in the past. But she recently shared that they had improved their relationship and were both prioritizing what’s best for their daughter.

In a video from September, Kelsey revealed that she and Kobe’s dad were on better terms. She also said that even though the time her daughter spent with her dad was limited Kobe always left his house with positive stories.

Kelsey and her ex had plans to change their custody agreement in February 2024.
