A 28-year-old alleged white supremacist in Montana — whose young children are named “Aryan” and “Nation” — was arrested over the weekend, nearly seven months after she allegedly killed a 22-year-old Native American woman, striking the victim with her truck while driving on narcotics and fleeing the scene.

Sunny K. White was taken into custody on Saturday and charged with five felonies, including one count of vehicular homicide while under the influence in the death of Mika Westwolf, authorities confirmed to Law&Crime. White was released from Flathead County Jail on Sunday after posting $200,000 bond, jail records show.

Westwolf was a member of the Blackfeet Nation, a tribe believed to have acquired its name due to the black moccasins worn by its members, which were typically painted or darkened with ashes.

A probable cause affidavit obtained by Law&Crime describes how it happened at about 4:15 a.m. on March 31 when a tribal officer patrolling the area of Highway 93 near White Coyote Road on the Flathead Reservation spotted the victim lying in the road amid debris — including a passenger side rearview mirror.

Westwolf, who had spent the night out with her brother, had returned to a bar because she thought she had left her cellphone behind. Investigators believe she was struck head-on by the passenger side of White’s car and died after suffering multiple blunt force injuries.

Shortly after Westwolf’s body was discovered, a deputy with the Lake County Sheriff’s Office spotted a Cadillac Escalade at about 5:23 a.m. with recent damage to the front of the vehicle and a missing passenger side rearview mirror.

The damage to the Escalade matched the description of the debris the tribal officer found at the site where Westwolf was found. White was taking things out of the car while her two children, ages 2 and 4, were still in the vehicle.
