NEW footage that shows two similar UFOs flying through the sky hundreds of miles apart has piqued the interest of alien enthusiasts.
Online commentators noted that the crafts look similar to objects spotted in footage previously released by the Pentagon.
One of the clips was filmed over the Florida’s Sarasota Bradenton International Airport, about 50 miles south of Tampa.
The video shows a metallic orb flying through the sky on October 16.
“A surreal daytime sighting of a steady, silver orb,” the video’s description says.
“Was it a drone, balloon, or something beyond our understanding? Watch and decide for yourself!”
The other video was taken on a flight between Bogota and Salento in Colombia on the same day.
“A passenger captures breathtaking footage of a spinning flying saucer,” the video’s description says.
“Was it just passing by or watching us? Dive into the mystery and witness the unbelievable!”
Both clips were uploaded by Latest UFO Sightings, an organization which catalogs footage like this.
Many online commentators have compared the clips to the GIMBAL UFO video released by the Pentagon in 2020.
That clip filmed by US Navy personnel in 2015 shows a similar metallic orb flying through a cloudy night sky.
The new videos also fetched a lot of attention on Reddit’s r/UFOs forum, where many commenters identified the objects as balloons.
“The thing is, at least the video in this link, they look like balloons. They act like balloons,” one said.
“They are doing nothing you’d consider abnormal. They are silver shapes gently floating about.”
Another Reddit user felt the same way.
“It literally looks and behaves like a balloon,” they said.
“I can’t tell for sure it’s a balloon but come on it can very easily be a balloon.”
Another UFO was recently spotted in the sky over Dallas, Texas.
