POLICE have urged Maine residents to be vigilant for the gunman suspected of orchestrating the mass shooting in Maine that left 18 dead and 13 others injured.
The manhunt continues for suspect Robert Card, 40, who Maine State Police believed is behind the deadly shooting in Lewiston, about 37 miles southwest of Augusta, on Wednesday evening.
“This is a dark day for Maine,” state governor Janet Mills said, adding that she’s spoken to President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris twice since the events of the shooting.
