The aim of the game is to spot the four ghosts reading a book in less than 23 seconds and prove you have a high IQ and the eyes of a hawk.

The average time for this puzzle is 64 seconds, but can you beat it?

The image shows an array of ghosts all bunched together and wearing different fashionable outfits, and some are even playing instruments!

When attempting this challenge you must have your wits about you, as this image is designed to freak out your eyes and distract them from the task.

This is because they get overwhelmed by all the similar ghosts ghouling around in the background.

Have you found the cheeky poltergeists yet?

Here’s a clue, the books they are reading have a pale pink colour that, if you look closely, will make them easier to spot.

Still no luck? If not, don’t be disheartened, as this is one of our most difficult spooky puzzles, and the answer is included at the bottom.

Meanwhile why not try some other festive challenges while you scroll?

Spot the black cat and prove you have 20/20 vision, or find the mischievous cat hiding amongst the festive objects.

And don’t give up trying these troublesome teasers, as they can improve brain health and even enhance eyesight.

According to ZenBuisness: “These visual puzzles can give you a good mental workout that can, in turn, help you think more efficiently and solve problems more easily.”

And Universities of York and Glasgow have found staring at an optical illusion can improve visual acuity and allow you to see small print.

The answer to this visual task is found in each corner of the picture, with one ghost per section.

Hidden in the background of the snapshot, is a little black cat.

This one is difficult so we won’t set a time limit, as most people fail to find him at all.

Can you see him? Or are you having a hard time tracking him down?

Here’s a clue. Direct your eyes across the balloons scattered around the photo.

If you’re still struggling, don’t worry, we have included the answer below.
