RANDY Rhoads was firmly establishing himself in the heavy metal music industry as a versatile guitarist.
Unfortunately, his dreams were cut off after his untimely death at the age of 25.
Who was Randy Rhoads?
Born on December 6, 1956, in Santa Monica, California, Randy Rhoads was a versatile American guitarist.
He was widely known to be one of the co-founders and guitarist of the heavy metal band Quiet Riot.
Most notably, he was the guitarist and co-songwriter for Ozzy Osbourne’s first two solo albums, Blizzard of Ozz and Diary of Madman.
Randy was able to combine his education in classical guitar with heavy metal to form a subgenre later known as neoclassical metal.
As a result of his legendary status in the music industry, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2021.

How did Randy Rhoads die?
On March 19, 1982, Rany Rhoads died in a plane crash while on tour with Osbourne in Leesburg, Florida.
He was 25 years old at the time of his death.
The tragic incident occurred a few meters away from where the bus where his bus mates slept.
Even though Randy was on tour with Ozzy Osbourne, only two other people were on the flight with him – Andrew Aycock, who was the pilot, and Rachel Youngblood, who was a makeup artist.
What caused Randy Rhoads’ plane to crash?
The accident occurred when Randy’s plane crashed into a tour bus.
The pilot, Andrew Aycock, clipped the plane’s wing while attempting to fly over the band’s tour bus.
Unfortunately, that maneuver caused the plane to spiral out of control and led to their deaths.
