MTG tears into 'pathetic' Republicans who sank Rashida Tlaib censure

Marjorie Taylor Greene tore into her Republican colleagues who voted against her resolution to censure Rep. Rashida Tlaib for anti-Semitic comments – including demanding a ceasefire in Israel.

The Georgia lawmaker called Tlaib a ‘terrorist’ and posted a list to X, formerly Twitter, of the 24 Republicans who voted with Democrats to table the censure, and the 13 who abstained or did not vote.

Specifically, Rep. Greene called out her Colorado colleagues as ‘CNN wannabe’ Rep. Ken Buck and ‘vaping groping’ Rep. Lauren Boebert in response to Rep. Chip Roy (R-Texas) reasoning that the ‘feckless resolution to censure Tlaib was deeply flawed.’

This kicked-off a war-of-words between Greene and Roy Thursday morning.

Two dozen House Republicans voted Wednesday night to sink their own GOP colleague’s resolution to censure the Palestinian-American congresswoman. Another baker’s dozen did not vote – helping to end the effort.

‘This is why Republicans NEVER do anything to stop the communists Democrats or ever hold anyone accountable!!’ Rep. Greene wrote on X. ‘PATHETIC.’

Greene authored the resolution to censure Tlaib, who is part of the progressive squad in the lower chamber.

Tlaib and her progressive pro-Palestine colleagues increased their anti-Israel sentiments over the last month after Hamas terrorists carried out an unprompted attack on Israel. It led to the largest single-day murder of Jewish people since the Holocaust. Israel reports more than 1,400 of their people died in the attacks.

Since then, Israel has carried out a series of counter strikes on the Hamas stronghold of Gaza, killing thousands, according to the terrorist de facto government.

Greene’s criticism of Boebert continues the public back-and-forth between the two far-right pro-Trump lawmakers, who haven’t seen eye-to-eye as of late.

Her reference to Boebert’s ‘vaping’ and ‘groping’ follows footage emerging of the Colorado lawmaker taking selfies, dancing wildly in her seat and vaping during a musical performance. after denying doing so and claiming the vapor was stage fog.

Boebert was asked by ushers and other theatergoers to behave during the performance of Beetlejuice as she inhaled a vape before blowing smoke out through her mouth and nostrils. She previously denied using an e-cigarette and claimed her accusers had gotten confused with stage smoke.

Progressives have called for a ceasefire, which Republicans claim is synonymous with demanding Israel not defend itself against a designated terrorist organization.

Greene tore into Rep. Roy for his vote against censuring Tlaib.

‘You hate Trump, certified Biden’s election, and could care less about J6 defendants being persecuted,’ Greene wrote on X.

Speaking with a reporter for The Hill, Roy responded to Greene’s criticism with: ‘Tell her to go chase so-called Jewish space lasers if she wants to spend time on that sort of thing.’

He was referencing Greene’s previously propagating anti-Semitic conspiracies of the existence of Jewish space lasers and their use to cause havoc. In 2018, Greene made a lengthy Facebook post claiming that the wealthy Jewish Rothschild family used space lasers to spark the California wildfires.

Since then, Rep. Greene has denied any connection to anti-Semitic stances and says she was a political novice when she made those claims.

‘Oh shut up Colonel Sanders, you’re not even from Texas, more like the DMV,’ Greene said in response to Rep. Roy bringing up her previous space laser comments.

‘Chip Roy’s career exist of working for politicians, working for campaigns for politicians, and being a politician himself,’ she added in another X post. ‘Unity Party all the way!’
