A Jewish man has died after a pro-Palestine rally on Sunday in Westlake Village, California, according to reports.

The incident unfolded around 3.15pm near the intersection of Thousand Oaks Boulevard and Westlake Road, according to KTLA.

Fire officials told KTLA that authorities first received a call of a ‘fight in progress’ with an elderly man ‘down.’

The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles claimed the victim was ‘struck in the head by a megaphone wielded by a pro-Palestinian protestor.’ They were unable to provide further details.

Ventura County sheriffs are yet to comment or respond to DailyMail.com’s request for information. Los Angeles Police Department told DailyMail.com they were not involved.
