Dermot Murnaghan, 65, was a presenter for Sky News until the end of February 2023.

The British broadcaster also used to present the BBC quiz show Eggheads between 2003 and 2014.

He was born in Barnstaple, Devon but later moved to Northern Ireland with his family.

Over the years, Dermot has presented a plethora of programmes including ITV’s Wish You Were Here…?, BBC Two’s Treasure Hunt and BBC Breakfast.

Away from the screen, Dermot lives in North London with his wife Maria Keegan whom he married in 1989 in Camden.

The couple have four children and now live in Crouch End in North London.

Dermot told The Standard that Crouch End has a “village feel” and offers access to “all you would wish for in a modern metropolis”.

His local pub is The Railway Tavern in Crouch End which he described as “understated but great”.

In three words, he described the area as “child-friendly”, “community-spirited” and “chilled”.

Overall, sold prices in Crouch End over the last year were similar to the previous year and eight percent up on the 2017 peak of £700,482.
