What happened to Shania Twain’s tour bus?

On Wednesday, November 8, 2023, Shania Twain’s crew bus and a truck got into a highway accident near Wolseley, Saskatchewan.

The tour bus and truck were traveling between their last gig in Winnipeg, Canada, to their next in Saskatoon.

Maverick Management, Shania’s management company released the news of the accident to People.

According to the company: “One crew bus and one truck from the Shania Twain – Queen Of Me tour were involved in a highway accident driving between Winnipeg and Saskatoon.”

As a result of the crash, several of Shania’s crew members required medical attention.

Shania Twain was not present on the bus.

Why did the bus crash?

According to Maverick Management, the bus crashed due to “inclement weather.”

“Multiple vehicles encountered dangerous driving conditions due to inclement weather,” they reported to the outlet.

Images of the crash showed the tour bus and truck rolled over off the road near what appeared to be an icy highway.

Joerg Philipp, the owner of the tour bus, took to Instagram to further state the accident was caused by “black ice on the roadway.”

“We are incredibly thankful to the emergency services teams for their quick response and ongoing support. We ask for patience as we look after our touring family.”
