ITV is yet to confirm the official 2023 I’m A Celeb line-up, however, it’s been claimed by The Sun that Fred will be joining the 23rd series of the show in Australia along with 11 other famous faces.

Fred will reportedly be joined by This Morning’s Josie Gibson, Made in Chelsea’s Sam Thompson and Nigel Farage.

Fred, 51, is best known for being the face of Channel 4’s First Dates and BBC Two’s Million Pound Menu.

He is a maître d’hôtel and has worked in the Michelin-starred La Tante Claire and Galvin at Windows.

Over the years, he has also presented and appeared on several TV shows including ITV’s Gordon, Gino and Fred: Road Trip, Channel 4’s Snackmasters and Celebrity Gogglebox.

Fred was brought up in Limoges, France. Both of his parents worked in healthcare which inspired him to work in the service industry.

He now lives in Peckham, South London with his fiancée who he lovingly calls “Fruitcake”.

He also has two children from a previous relationship who live in Peckham. One of his daughters is professional British diver Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix.

He originally moved to Peckham 20 years ago “because it was cheap” but it seems he’s become rather fond of the bustling south London neighbourhood.

Peckham is known for being one of London’s trendiest neighbourhoods, having undergone major regeneration over the years.

The neighbourhood is home to bustling bars, quirky art galleries and a plethora of eateries.

Properties in Peckham don’t come cheap and had an overall average price of £639,314 over the last year, according to Rightmove.

The majority of sales in Peckham during the last year were flats, selling for an average price of £440,818.

Terraced properties sold for an average of £945,855, with semi-detached properties fetching £1,245,461.

Overall, sold prices in Peckham over the last year were similar to the previous year and seven percent up on the 2020 peak of £599,011.
