AN incredible new piece of technology can transform any EV truck into a lavish camper van that includes a queen-size bed and shower.

The lightweight and aerodynamic Camp365 T Model works with popular motors like the Rivian R1, Ford Lighting, Tesla Cybertruck, and other mid-size trucks.

From regular campsites to sandy beaches to unpaved roads, the new feature aims to open up the possibilities of where you can drive, camp, and explore.

The T Model pickup camper boasts a lightweight, collapsible design that would fit perfectly in the truck bed of an electric truck and would transform it into a true lifestyle motor.

The camper includes patented technology, allowing one person to load or unload the camper in around 10 minutes.

It weighs in at an upper limit of 800 pounds (362kg), but travels as a streamlined unit, drastically reducing wind resistance.

And the sleek design accounts for an estimated 5 to 10 per cent loss in range.

This is miles ahead of fellow competitors who lose nearly 50 per cent of range with an 8,000lb (3628kg) payload.

The camper will ride fairly low and narrow, while an aero deflector at the front improves aerodynamics and fuel efficiency.

Once at the campsite, the Model T expands into a spacious micro-cabin with modern amenities that sleeps up to five people.

The incredible piece of tech enables year-round camping with dual-layer air gap insulation walls.

Sleeping options include a folding queen, twin, or bunk bed comfort setup.

It also lets the user enjoy full amenities, including a hot water shower, sink, faucet, and induction cooktop.

And the technology also boasts electric heat and air conditioning, bike racks and a 24-gallon water tank.

The new Camp365 T Model will start at $25,000 (£20346) and can be reserved for a $100, fully-refundable deposit.

All Camp365 units are made in America at manufacturing plants in Iowa and Minnesota.

Production is slated to begin in the early summer of 2024.
