Multiple people have been injured and at least two victims had to be airlifted to a hospital after a stabbing occurred at Louisiana Tech University.
University police responded to the call at the university’s Lambright Sports & Wellness Center on Monday morning.
Police have confirmed that two victims have been airlifted to hospitals in Shreveport, according to local reporters at KTVE.
A suspect who is not a resident of the university was taken into custody at the Kidd Student Housing Complex shortly after the incident, local reports said.
Nearby Ruston High School was placed on a brief lockdown because of the crime.
