BRIDES and grooms called the cops after spotting an uninvited stranger wolfing down wedding food at tables across THREE states.

Alleged serial wedding crasher Sandra Lynn Henson, 57, then mysteriously vanished – along with thousands of dollars, claim authorities.

Her alleged reception heists are claimed to have taken place in at least three southern states over at least six years, reported USA Today.

And after being confronted at one wedding, she stunned guests when she handed over $200 “hidden in her bra,” said an attendee.

Pontotoc County Sheriff’s Department said Henson had been arrested in Alabama, Tennessee and Mississippi for allegedly “crashing weddings and stealing money and cards from purses.”

She appeared in Pontotoc County Justice Court in Mississippi on misdemeanor charges of petit larceny, trespassing and disturbing the peace after being nabbed for crashing a wedding on September 30.

The Mississippi resident was ordered to pay a $650 fine after pleading guilty to the charges. She’ll reappear in court next year.

But news of her fine has upset two of her recent victims – brides Lexi Butler and Kait Dorrough.

“STOP HER”

Butler, 22, told USA Today: “It’s unfair.

“She has robbed so many people of precious time, memories, and gifts, but she never has to own up to her wrongdoing. I can’t believe no one is taking this seriously.”

Dorrough, 34, told the paper that Henson had swiped $200 in cash on her wedding night.

She added: “It’s insane – she’s been doing this for quite some time and I don’t think she has any intention to stop.”

Henson was caught while attending Lexi Loden and Brady Butler’s wedding in Pontotoc County, said NBC News.

The bride recalled the shock of seeing the thief scoffing her wedding cake: “When Sandra turned around in the bridal room, she was eating a piece of my cake.”

Newlywed Lexi Loden Butler said that Henson was spotted by her sister in the bridal suite, where she was going through the bride’s personal belongings.

“CASH IN BRA”

When other family members gathered around the woman, she was accused of taking $200 out of the wedding coordinator’s purse.

Henson had initially denied the accusation.

Kristian Joshlin, Loden Butler’s other sister, told NBC: “When threatened with calling the cops, she admitted to stealing $200 in cash.”

She then pulled the $200 out of her bra and handed it to back to the family, Loden Butler said.

Joshlin added that Henson was petrified about returning to jail: “She apologized and talked about how good she’d been doing lately, saying, ‘I’ve been going to church and doordashing’.”

Sheriff Leo Mask told the broadcaster: “From what we understand, she’s been charged with [wedding crashing] several times.”

According to state corrections department records at the time of her arrest, Henson was on parole in Mississippi after being caged on burglary and grand larceny charges.

ALABAMA

Court records showed that Henson had stolen wedding gifts, cash and gift cards to the tune of more than $1,000 in 2021.

She had pleaded guilty and was sentenced in Marshall County to five years’ probation, they also revealed.

The New York Post said that in 2019, authorities claimed that Henson had allegedly been linked to thefts at nine different weddings in Alabama.

However, the outcome of those cases was not immediately clear, said the NYP and NBC.

In February 2020, Henson was indicted on charges in Alabama.

She is due to appear back in court in Lauderdale County on November 23 in relation to those charges, court records show.

Memphis TV station, ABC24, referred to Henson in 2021 as the “mid-South wedding crasher”.
