Who Is Thomasin McKenzie?
Thomasin Katherin Helen Harcourt McKenzie was born in New Zealand on July 26, 2000. She started her career as a teenager and is the actress Miranda Harcourt’s daughter. She gained critical acclaim for her portrayal of a little girl living in solitude in Debra Granik’s drama film Leave No Trace (2018), which won the National Board of Review Award for Breakthrough Performance, following a small part in The Hobbit: The Battle of Five Armies (2014).
She also has a height of 5 feet 5 inches (165 cm/1.65 m). In 2018, she graduated from Samuel Marsden Collegiate School with a secondary education.
With supporting rolesĀ in the 2019 movies The King, Jojo Rabbit, and True History of the Kelly Gang, McKenzie kept gaining recognition.
In 2021 she starred in M. Night Shyamalan’s thriller Old and Edgar Wright’s psychological horror film Last Night in Soho, and featured in Jane Campion’s western film The Power of the Dog. She also played the title role in the thriller Eileen (2023).

She has an elder brother Peter McKenzie and a younger sister, actress Davida McKenzie.Ā
