Three people were found fatally stabbed in a Queens home Tuesday morning, and their 54-year-old landlord is currently being questioned by law enforcement.

The triple murder happened in the St. Albans section of the borough just before 7am, and the man in custody turned himself to the 113th Precinct at about 7am, saying he was ‘having issues with his tenants.’

‘The officer inquired further, and the male stated that “he did something bad,”‘ NYPD Assistant Chief Kevin Williams told reporters in a statement hours later.

Cops then rushed to the home on Milburn Street near 122nd Avenue after he told them the address, where they found the three victims dead. A man and a woman were found together in a basement bedroom, while another was found upstairs.

Cops are now investigating the slayings as a potential landlord-tenant dispute, which police sources said was over unpaid rent.

Footage from this morning showed lawmen gathered in the home backyard about an hour after the murders, where they remained over the course of the morning.

They said one woman was found on the second floor and the two men were in the bedroom of a basement apartment, but provided few other details aside that the victims were all pronounced dead at the scene. An investigation is underway.

Initial reports indicated that the 54-year-old suspect may have lived at the residence,  and may have been living with the victims,

‘I stabbed my roommates,’ sources familiar with the matter reportedly told amNewYork Metro of what the suspect said when he turned himself in, at a precinct about a mile away from the murders.

It is believed the incident unfolded after an ongoing dispute over non-payment of rent, police said.

Police said they initially responded to the scene around 7:16am, after receiving an unspecified report of an incident inside 122-39 Milburn St – the home where the victims were found.

It remains unclear if officers were tipped off by the unnamed and currently incarcerated person of interest, who showed up at the precinct roughly 15 minutes before.

‘He came in as calm as we thought he could he could be when he engaged the officers,’ Assistant chief Williams said of the suspect.

Standing outside the home, he revealed how once inside the three-bed, two-bath house, they found the victims.

Cops are now investigating the slayings as a potential landlord-tenant dispute, though charges have yet to be filed. Cops have also yet to name the suspect, who is currently in custody

All had succumbed to their wounds, he said, while further revealing how all had sustained ‘multiple’ stab wounds and died before being brought to an area hospital.

It is currently unclear whether they all lived at the residence, though insiders told the News that they did. As of 9:45am, the person in custody had yet to be charged, and was still being questioned by law enforcement.

Now facing charges that are still pending, he has still yet to be named. There has been no word on possible motive, though police sources told The Daily News and ABC7 the slayings may have been motivated by back rent.

As of 1pm, no one involved has been identified.

Still, police Tuesday said they were still working to identify the deceased, one of whom is believed to be a 51-year-old woman.

Officers said she was found face down in her bed in the upstairs bedroom, but did not specify whether she or the other victims were stabbed in their sleep.

Their investigation remains ongoing. No one else is being sought.
