The 16-year-old Hayden L. Gipson, who was sadly killed on Monday, November 13, after suffering injuries in a car accident, is being mourned by the Middleburg community. Middle-West High School student Hayden was passionate about basketball and wanted to play for the upcoming bowling team. Hayden was employed at Burger King in Middleburg and the Shoe Department at the Susquehanna Valley Mall. He was employed by Burger King in the past. Hayden took comfort in fishing, exploring on his four-wheeler and going on motorbike adventures with his father when he wasn’t in school or at work. His relatives and friends knew how much he loved sloths.

Whatever the fun antics of their siblings, Hayden always had a particular place in his heart for his siblings. On Friday, November 17, from 9 to 11 a.m., friends and family are welcome to pay their respects while visiting Beavertown God’s Missionary Church, 1693 Creek Rd., Middleburg. Following the burial at Middleburg’s Glendale Cemetery, the funeral ceremony will take place at the same venue at 11 a.m., presided over by church pastors. Joshua G. Gipson of Middleburg and Beth A. (Bingaman) Gipson of Selinsgrove are the parents of Hayden L. Gipson, who was born in Lewisburg on February 12, 2007.
