The R&B singer accused her ex-boyfriend of physical abuse, rape, forcing her to take drugs and perform sexual acts with prostitutes during their relationship.

Just hours after her accusations against the 54-year-old hit the news, Cassie’s husband of four years, Alex Fine, supported her with an Instagram post.

The personal trainer who shares two children with Cassie reposted an image from their wedding day on his Instagram Story alongside a red heart emoji, according to The Post.

The photo originally shared on his account last summer was later deleted from the story.

In her own Instagram post, from their anniversary, Cassie praised her husband saying: “Happy 4th Anniversary to my Best Friend. There’s no one like you in this world.

“You have the biggest heart and the funniest sense of humor, your curiosity about life still surprises me and warms my heart every day.

“I grow more and more and more and more in love with you as time goes on and I wouldn’t want it any other way.”

Fans supported the singer in the comments saying: “Sending you love and healing. May God continue to hold you and protect you.

“Speak your truth. There is no time limit on having a voice after being silenced for a decade.”

In a statement via her attorneys at Wigdor LLP, Cassie said: “After years in silence and darkness, I am finally ready to tell my story, and to speak up on behalf of myself and for the benefit of other women who face violence and abuse in their relationships.”

The lawsuit states that her relationship with industry mogul Diddy began in 2005 when she was 19 and the music producer was 37.

She claims that soon after, he launched into a pattern of control and abuse that led her to live a “lifestyle of excessive alcohol and substance abuse.”

The rapper is also accused in the suit of forcing Cassie to have drug-fuelled sex with a succession of male prostitutes while he filmed the encounters which he would allegedly call “Freak Offs.”

In 2018, near the end of their on-again off-again relationship, Combs forced his way into her home and raped her, after she broke up with him at dinner, according to the lawsuit.

“Throughout their relationship, Mr. Combs was prone to uncontrollable rage, and frequently beat Ms. Ventura savagely,” the suit alleges.

“These beatings were witnessed by Mr. Combs’ staff and employees of Bad Boy Entertainment and Mr. Combs’s related businesses, but no one dared to speak up against their frightening and ferocious boss.”

“Mr. Combs vehemently denies these offensive and outrageous allegations,” Comb’s attorney, Ben Brafman, said in a statement to The New York Times.

“For the past six months, Mr. Combs has been subjected to Ms. Venturea’s persistent demand of $30 million, under the threat of writing a damaging book about their relationship, which was unequivocally rejected as blatant blackmail.

“Despite withdrawing her initial threat, Ms. Ventura has not resorted to filing a lawsuit riddled with baseless and outrageous lies, aiming to tarnish Mr. Comb’s reputation and seeking a payday.”

Cassie’s attorney, Douglas Wigdor, claims the parties spoke before the lawsuit was filed.

“Mr. Combs offered Ms. Ventura eight figures to silence her and prevent the filing of this lawsuit. She rejected his efforts,” Wigdor claims.
