A MOM accused of fatally shooting her two sons in their home two weeks ago had previous drug charges and had claimed she was manipulated before their deaths.

Tiffanie Lucas, 32, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, was arrested after being found outside the home where the two boys were shot.

She was charged with the murder of her two sons, Maurice, 6, and Jayden, 9 on Monday.

The boys were found in their home covered in blood last week and died in the hospital later that day – they were both shot in the head, with four bullets fired in 30 seconds, according to the Bullitt County court.

DRUG USE

Lucas opened a convenience store in 2016, but it shuttered its doors just a year later.

In 2018 she pleaded guilty to drug charges and was sentenced to 30 days in jail, according to WDRB News.

She did not have any other additions to her criminal record following the 2018 charges.

However, the news outlet did point out that family members cleaned out her home after she was arrested for the shooting and found it “filthy” with the utilities turned off and an eviction notice on the counter.

MANIPULATED

Lucas has claimed to police that she was “manipulated” to shoot her two sons.

She told cops that the incident was an “accident” and that she was in a “bad spot” when it happened.

The statement came after being interviewed by Bullitt County Detective Richard Beahl.

“I asked Miss Lucas if she meant to hurt her children. She indicated that it was an accident,” Beahl said in court.

“She also made some comments such as, quote, ‘I’m in such a bad spot. I would never do anything like this unless someone manipulated me.'”

Lucas explained she was being manipulated through Facebook.

“Through the internet or through Wi-Fi, through Facebook and through her Wi-Fi, being manipulated into doing what she did,” Beahl said.

‘DEMONIC’

A woman who claims she knew Lucas, Leigha Jade, of Louisville, took to Facebook to share how the mother was allegedly on a downward trajectory years ago.

“She was on a bad path back then & I was too, but the point is even then knowing her I would have never imagined this,” Jade claimed in the post.

“This is heartbreaking & so demonic. This makes me so mad,” she continued. 

Jade added that she believes Lucas may have had mental health issues that would lead her to do something so evil.

“I’m so disappointed in this world we live in & it doesn’t matter where we go it’s everywhere. Everyone should be praying for this world & our city,” the Kentucky native wrote.

“The devil wants to win so bad & it will only change if everyone works together. This makes me sick to my stomach.”
