Celebrity dermatologist Alex Khadavi has died at the age of 50 after a battle with stage four liver cancer.

Khadavi’s colleagues and friends announced his death on his Instagram page today with a tribute that read ‘forever remembered’.

He ran a popular Los Angeles dermatology clinic that was frequented by stars.

Khadavi – who had more than 107,000 Instagram followers – worked at the Dermatology & Laser Medical Center, which has locations in the celebrity enclaves of Encino and Thousand Oaks.

The 50-year-old was originally from Tehran, moving to America as a child in 1979.

Khadavi’s list of celebrity fans included the Kardashians, some of whom promoted his hand creams on QVC and social media.

While he was loved by some of Hollywood, he ran into trouble with others.

Real estate brothers Josh and Matt Altman from Million Dollar Listing accused Khadavi of aggressive antisemitism, claiming he told them he ‘hated all Jews’.

Khadavi was also arrested in 2021 after he was caught on camera repeatedly using a homophobic slur during a dispute with a gay neighbor in West Hollywood.

Khadavi – who has treated stars including Scott Disick, David Hasselhoff and Lance Bass – was recorded on surveillance video threatening the man in the lobby.

The plastic surgeon also filed for bankruptcy last year after overshooting his load on a dream house.

‘I dreamed too big,’ he said at the time.

He was profiled in a Wall Street Journal article titled ‘Cosmetic Surgeons Are Building L.A. Megamansions, and the Results Are Over-the-Top’.

In the piece, Khadavi stated that he was selling his 21,000-square-foot Bel-Air home for $87,777,777 – one of the highest price tags in the area.

The doctor stated that he paid $16 million for the property in 2013 before spending around $30 million and the better part of a decade renovating and decorating the pad.

Part of the design centered around the number seven – with many of the pad’s architectural details in measurements that are multiples of seven, hence the unusual price tag.
