THE Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is here – and an impressive array of performers are joining the 25 balloons and 30 floats this year.
Iconic singer Cher is headlining the show’s live performances, and she’ll perform at the end of the parade.
The lineup of entertainers also includes Brandy, Chicago, Bell Biv DeVoe, En Vogue, Jessie James Decker, ENHYPHEN, David Foster and Katharine McPhee, Drew Holcomb and The Neighbors, Ashley Park with the Muppets of Sesame Street cast, Pentatonix, Paul Russell, Amanda Shaw and Alex Smith, and Jon Batiste, who is kicking off the event.
This year’s festivities, co-hosted by Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb, and Al Roker, start now and end at noon at Macy’s Herald Square location.
The Macy’s 97th Thanksgiving Parade is airing live now on NBC. The broadcast will also be available for live streaming via Peacock.

Route explained
The parade begins at West 77th Street and Central Park West and ends at Herald Square, home of Macy’s flagship store.
The best places to watch are along Central Park West (between West 75th and West 61st Streets) and along Sixth Avenue (between West 59th and West 38th Streets)

How can I watch the parade?
Macy’s 97th Thanksgiving Parade is slated to air live on NBC.
The broadcast will also be available for live streaming via Peacock.
An encore of the celebration is scheduled to be aired at 2 pm EST.
Don’t forget about the time zone difference, the live broadcast will not adjust its time for different regions.
For example, if you’re viewing from the West Coast, the live broadcast will begin at 8:30 am EST, which means it would begin at 5:30 am PST.

What is the parade’s route?
At 8:30 am, the parade is slated to begin at 77th Street and Central Park West.
From the abovementioned location, the parade will then march for 2.5 miles toward Columbus Circle.
Next, the spectacle will march down Central Park South and 6th Avenue until it reaches 34th street.
At 34th Street, the parade will march west until it turns on 7th Avenue to end at Macy’s Herald Square location.
Public viewing of the festivities is to be set up along the routes.
The NYPD advises against crowdgoers bringing large bags, umbrellas, backpacks, and strollers.

Keep in mind the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade starts earlier than usual today.
It will kick off at 8:30am so you’ll want to get there soon!
