ELON Musk has caused Twitter to lose millions of dollars due to his recent Antisemitic comments on social media.
While visiting Israel, it was revealed that Elon Musk’s antisemitic comments could cost X, formerly known as Twitter $75million in revenue loss.
On Musk’s social media platform, a user made a hateful comment about Jewish people that was endorsed by the billionaire.
The tweet claimed Jewish communities have been “pushing hatred” against white people while asking for others to stop doing the same to them.
Musk agreed with this post in a reply, saying, “You have said the actual truth.”
He followed up by saying that “The [Anti-Defamation League] unjustly attacks the majority of the West, despite the majority of the West supporting the Jewish people and Israel.
“This is because they cannot, by their own tenets, criticize the minority groups who are their primary threat. It is not right and needs to stop.”
Comments like this, as well as the many other hateful tweets that are allowed on X, could cost the platform as much as $75million in advertising by the end of this year, according to The New York Times.
Companies like Apple, IBM, and Disney have completely pulled their ads, while Airbnb, Amazon, Coca-Cola, Microsoft, and Netflix have decided to limit or pause advertising on the platform.
Despite his egregious comments, the Tesla CEO has visited Israel where he toured a kibbutz attacked by Hamas militants, and met with President Isaac Herzog, and other top leaders in the country.

While he was there, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu showed the horrors of the October 7 massacre, including a baby’s crib filled with gun shells.
Musk and Netanyahu then went to the home of the Liebstein family, where they heard the story of the late Ofir Liebstein.
Ofir was the head of the council, who was murdered during the massacre in an exchange of fire with terrorists who infiltrated the kibbutz.
Musk and Netanyahu later held a live chat on X, where they discussed what they saw earlier in the day.
“It was troubling to see the joy experienced by the people that were killing innocent civilians, including kids and babies – defenseless people, essentially.”
“It’s one thing if civilians die accidentally, but it’s another thing to revel in the joy of killing civilians.
“That’s ugly. That’s evil.”

On the pro-Palestine demonstrations, the Tesla tycoon said: “It was troubling to see masses of protests in almost every major city in favor of Hamas, or they’re generally characterized as sort of a ‘Free Palestine’ movement.
“I think one can generally agree that we want a good future for Palestinians.
“The challenge really is how do you get rid of the ones who are murdering Jewish people while minimizing civilian casualties and then ultimately stopping the sort of propaganda that is convincing people to engage in murder.”
Musk added: “At the end of the day is essential to figure out how are they being trained to have this belief that murdering and having joy at the death of civilians is a good thing.”
