Idaho toddler is abducted by his suspect father who is 'heavily armed'

An amber alert has been issued for a 10-month-old baby in Idaho who was allegedly abducted by his ‘heavily armed and dangerous’ murder suspect father.

Zeke Gregory Best is thought to have been abducted by his dad Jeremy Albert Best, 48, after being last seen on Thursday night at around 11:40 pm.

Kali Jean Randall, 38, was the mother of the 10-month-old and married to the baby’s father Jeremy Best, police told Dailymail.com.

She was found unresponsive in her home in the Idaho town, and her death is being investigated as a homicide.

An officer from the Teton Count Sherriff’s office said there has been no update on the case – and that Best has not been seen since 11:40 pm on Thursday night.

The baby’s father is thought to be ‘heavily armed and dangerous’

Teton County Sheriff’s Office said they received an open line 911 call from a residence at 4600 Skyline Loop in Victor, Idaho, at 11.39pm on November 30 – just before Best was last seen.

In a statement police said deputies were dispatched to respond to a disturbance heard over the line by the dispatcher. When they arrived they located a non-responsive female subject who was identified as Kali Jean Randall.

Her death is currently being investigated by the Sheriff’s Office and the Idaho State Police as a homicide at the time, the statement added.

An amber alert for the couple’s child was issued at 4:30am Friday morning.

Police said Best was last seen driving a Black 1995 Chevrolet Tahoe SUV with an Idaho license plate 1T39349.

Best is described as a 5’11 male weighing 245 pounds with brown/grey hair and green eyes.

His son Zeke is described as 1’00” weighing 20 pounds.

They warned the public not to approach the ‘heavily armed’ suspect and have asked anyone with information about the suspect, vehicle or endangered child is asked to call 208-354-2323 or 911 immediately.

Zeke was born at the end of January – according to Randell’s social media

Best owns an local mechanic shop in Victor, Idaho called Jeremy’s Auto – he has been a mechanic for 20 years.

On his business’s website he says: ‘Meet Jeremy Best, your local mechanic and new best friend’.

Jeremy said that when not repairing cars – he’s ‘soaking up the sun on his leisure boat’ or ‘cruising the backroads with his lady, Kali, and three dogs’.
