This Morning presenter Josie Gibson was finally reunited with her son Reggie following her departure from the I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! jungle. The semi-finalist, 38, held her five-year-old in her arms as she filmed an exit video for Instagram.

The sweet moment saw Josie and Reggie laugh together as they shared their first hug after three weeks apart.

The youngster reportedly wasn’t able to greet his mum on the famous bridge due to his age but Josie was met by her best friend Mia instead.

Moments earlier, Josie revealed to Ant and Dec that she had a secret “showdown” with her campmate Fred Sirieix, 51, which wasn’t shown on screen.

The Big Brother winner revealed that she had clashed with the First Dates star after he “criticised” her cooking.

She said: “I was trying to cook and Fred was criticising everything I do. I think I put him straight at the end.

“In the end, I just had to settle it with a showdown. We had a showdown in the end and I won.”

ITV viewers were quick to share their disappointment that the “showdown” wasn’t aired, with one user sharing to X: “Josie said in her interview that she had a playful showdown with Fred but they must’ve cut that out.

“The way they edit these shows to create good guys & bad guys which massively influences voting. Fred left way too soon because he was portrayed negatively.”

John added: “Strangely Josie mentioned her tear up with Fred which wasn’t show?” And Laura said: “WHY DID WE NOT SEE THIS????? #ImACeleb.”

Lauren echoed: “I want to see Josie and Fred’s showdown!” While Melissa wrote: “So, Josie and Fred had a showdown but ITV decided not to edit it in, such a shame!”

Josie narrowly missed out on this year’s final, leaving just Nigel Farage, Sam Thompson and Tony Bellew to battle it out to be crowned King of the Jungle.
