In a message, the Pine-Richland School District informed families that both current and previous students were involved in the crash. According to the district, at least one other student is receiving medical attention for injuries, and one of the adolescents who passed away was a current student. Jonathan Tourney played football for his high school squad and was in the ninth grade. He was an energetic child who enjoyed fishing, ice skating, and all things sports-related, according to many. “The holidays make it much more difficult. It’s difficult to bury a child anytime. Hearts and prayers to the family, of Jon LeDonne, football coach at Pine-Richland.

The district announced that counsellors, psychologists, and Glade Run doctors will be available to offer help when kids return on January 3. “Our community and school district should be concentrating on helping the families affected by this tragedy at this time. Please remember them in your prayers and thoughts. We will give further details on our school-based support for all students, families, and staff as we get ready for the return to school,” the letter stated. Coach LeDonne noted that Tourney’s family has endured a great deal and referred to the tragedy as terrible.
