Natalia Grace Barnett is a Ukrainian-born American adoptee, who suffers from a rare form of dwarfism.

But after birth, she was placed in an orphanage in the country. Eventually, she was diagnosed with spondyloepiphyseal dysplasia congenita, a rare form of dwarfism.

Natalia came to the United States as an adoptee. Kristine and Michael Barnett adopted the Ukranian orphan in the spring of 2010.

According to reports, Natalia had a former adoptive placement in the US and several temporary placements prior to her adoption by the Barnett couple.

Is Natalia Grace Arrested? Jail News Gone Viral

Natalia Grace has not been arrested. The Ukrainian adoptee has recently made headlines when she confronted her adoptive father, Michael Barnett, in an upcoming docuseries on ID.

This marked their first face-to-face meeting outside a courtroom in years.

Contrary to rumors of Natalia’s arrest, her adoptive parents, Michael and Kristine Barnett, were charged with multiple counts of neglect.

The Barnetts, who are now divorced, adopted Natalia in 2010, believing that she was six years old.

However, the Barnett couple claimed they noticed inconsistencies about Natalia’s age and nationality soon after the adoption.

Not only that the Barnetts also allege that Natalia attempted to harm them multiple times.

In 2012, the Barnetts successfully petitioned to change Natalia’s birth year from 2003 to 1989.

A year later, they left her alone in an apartment and moved out of the country. In September 2019, the Barnetts were charged with multiple counts of neglect.

It should be noted that Michael Barnett was found “not guilty” in a trial in October 2022.

Earlier this year in March, Kristine Barnett was also acquitted of all charges. She currently resides in Florida.

Did Natalia Grace Try To Murder Her Adoptive Parents?

Natalia Grace’s adoptive parents, Michael and Kristine Barnett, accused of attempting to murder them.

Natalia has also been accused of attempting to kill Kristine by pulling her toward an electric fence and poisoning her coffee.

To prevent others from stepping on the transparent thumbtacks, Natalia was also accused of placing them face-up on the stairs.

Additionally, Michael claimed on Good Morning America that physicians who were purportedly attending to Natalia informed them that she was a sociopath.

The medical professionals allegedly told the Barnetts that “this individual (Natalia) was a con artist. Everyone among you is in danger.”

However, Grace, who is now believed to be 33 years old, has consistently denied allegations made by her former adoptive family.

Natalia maintains that she was a child when the Barnetts allegedly abandoned her.

In response to the Barnetts’ claims that she was an adult, Natalia, who appeared on Dr. Phil in 2019, asserted that all the allegations were false.

The Ukrainian adoptee, whose real age is still controversial, has always wanted people to hear her side of the story.

Grace told Dr. Phil she thought she had found the right family after adoption.

Nevertheless, Natalia has consistently denied the Barnetts’ claims that she tried to harm or kill them.

After the Barnetts left her, another Indiana couple, Cynthia and Anton Mans, welcomed her into their family.
