Siobhan Redmond initiated her career in the early 1980s, making appearances in comedy shows like “Alfresco” and the sketch show “There’s Nothing To Worry About!”

Her breakthrough came with the role of George Bulman’s assistant, Lucy McGinty, in “Bulman” from 1985 to 1987. Over the course of her career, Redmond has taken on diverse characters on screen, including Madame Sin in “In The Red,” Pru Plunkett in “Midsomer Murders,” and Jane Stone in “Queens of Mystery.”

In addition to her television work, Siobhan Redmond has showcased her talent on the theater stage, participating in productions such as “The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie” and “Twelfth Night” with the Royal Shakespeare Company.

Recognition for her contributions to drama came in 2013 when Redmond was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE). In 2000, the University of St Andrews conferred upon her an honorary Doctor of Letters degree.

Siobhan Redmond continues to be active in the industry, with recent appearances in TV series such as “Grantchester” and “Two Doors Down,” where she portrays Colin’s new partner, Anne Marie. Her extensive and varied body of work reflects her versatility and enduring impact in both television and theater.
