Chilling surveillance camera video has revealed the moment a lawyer greeted her ex-boyfriend’s father in front of his home in Brazil before she allegedly poisoned him and his mother to death.

The footage showed Amanda Partata stepping out of a taxi and carrying grocery bags containing the cakes she allegedly poisoned before she fed them to police officer Leonardo Ferreira and Luzia Alves during a breakfast at their Goiania home on December 17.

Partata, who dated Ferreira’s son, Dr. Leonardo Ferreira Jr., for a month and a half, could be seen embracing the elder Ferreira and handing him one of the bags.

She then followed Ferreira into the residence, where she allegedly carried out her macabre plot because she refused to accept the end of the relationship to his son, Civil Police investigators reported.

Partata gifted an orchid to Alves and posed for a photo, which was taken by her former boyfriend’s father.

Ferreira and Alves ate two of the cakes while Alves’ husband did not consume any.

The day of the murders, Partata visited a sweets shop at around 8 am and purchased grape juice, cheese biscuits and four cakes, which were placed in jars.

Partata returned to her hotel and arrived at the victims’ home at around 9 am and remained there until 12 pm before requesting a ride share app taxi to her home in the municipality of Itumbiara.

Ferreira reached out to Partata to tell her that he and his mother had fallen ill and advised her to visit a hospital, showing concerns because she had previously told the family that she was expecting a child from his son.

Ferreira and Alves were rushed to a hospital, after experiencing vomiting, diarrhea and stomach pains.

At around midnight on December 18, Partata went to a hospital after learning that her former boyfriend’s father had died.

Alves died during the early hours of December 18.

Investigators analyzed all of the foods that were purchased and left over, and only found large traces of a venomous substances in two of the four cakes, according to a forensic reported that was released Wednesday.

The name of the poisonous substance has not been revealed.

Partata, who was arrested December 22, is facing double homicide and attempted murder charges.

Her defense team said in a statement that she was illegally placed in police custody at a psychiatric clinic, where she was admitted after she attempted suicide.

Partata alleged that she was beaten by cops. The Civil Police’s internal affairs unit is investigating the claim.

‘I believe her intention was to kill anyone who consumed the food,’ Civil Police chief Carlos Alfama said in a press conference.
