Shocking video shows a man in San Francisco allegedly high on fentanyl thrashing around on the ground for two hours as a local journalist claims advocates are trying to cover up the reality of the city’s drug crisis.

On December 26, an account call Dodge Place Tenderloin SF shared the video on  X, formerly known as Twitter, and said the man screamed for at least two hours.

In the video, the man is allegedly high on fentanyl and has his pants pulled down to his ankles. He is rolling around on the ground, hitting himself and moaning incoherently.

San Francisco Beat host and independent journalist Erica Sandberg reposted the video and said homeless activists are trying to cover-up the reality of the crisis.

Sandberg said, ‘What frustrates so-called ‘homeless’ activists: they can’t stop these images and videos from going public.’

‘All threats and shaming attempts are futile. We will share what is happening to our fellow human beings on the streets. We will identify those responsible. Truth to power.’ 

In November, the city took drastic measures to clean up their streets as world leaders came into town for the APEC summit. But as soon as they left, the homeless population returned to the streets.

Protective steel fences were erected around the Moscone Center in the SoMa District, where the event was held. Police were also out in force, roads closed, and traffic detoured. 

But after the conference wrapped up Thursday, November 17, so did the special attention paid to SoMA and the bordering Tenderloin District, where the worst of the city’s homelessness is concentrated.

‘As you walk around here, it’s kind of like you have to do a Poopie Dance, always avoiding stepping in s**t,’ Rick Garcia, an architect, told DailyMail.com.

During a debate on Fox News with California Gov. Gavin Newsom, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis openly mocked the reality by displaying a map delineating feces purportedly found on the city streets.

DeSantis said, ‘Human feces is now a fact of life, except when a communist dictator comes to town.’

Howard Ul, 60, manager of the Golden State Donut Shop in the city’s Tenderloin District, told DailyMail.com: ‘Every corner here around here now is like garbage. They’re all back.’

Drug overdose deaths have reached an all-time high in the Golden Gate City, with 752 deaths so far in 2023

‘Everyone came for APEC, and overnight this area was cleaned up,’ he said. ‘They did an awesome job. My question is – why don’t they come to clean anymore? What are they doing to keep it up and help people who can’t seem to make choices for themselves?’ 

Crime and filth in the Golden Gate City has forced business and citizens to flee causing a ‘doom loop’ – referring to a city’s decline when tax incomes fall as residents and businesses leave, causing revenues to decline in a downward spiral.

Jeremy Bernier, a software engineer visiting the city shared a video on social media of a group he claimed to be drug addicts gathered outside his Airbnb.

Bernier described the city as the ‘most depressing place I’ve ever seen’ and went on to ask ‘wtf is this and who the hell is in charge of this city?’ 

‘So many drugged out people standing up while fully bent over with their head to the ground, taking what appears to be fentanyl,’ he added.

‘Tents everywhere, people passed out on sidewalks. This is worse than 3rd world countries. Such an embarrassment.’

Data from the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner showed that San Francisco has entered its deadliest year on record for drug overdoses with 752 accidental overdose deaths as of December 6.

It tops the highest year on record – 2020 – when 726 people died.

The rise in drug deaths goes hand in hand with a crime wave which has forced businesses to shut down and emptied the city center.

As of December 24, robbery is up 14.5 percent and motor vehicle theft is up 5.6 percent in the city, according to San Francisco Police Department crime data.

His latest musical offering is an English language song exposing the weakness of ‘crooked politicians’.

‘Now London Breed you ain’t nothing but a clown / When we really needed you, you ain’t never been around’ Yang raps on the track.

‘You done turn this great city into a zombie land/ They do all kind of dirt’s here they won’t try that in a small town,’ he adds.
