Bill Clinton spotted in NYC after he was mentioned in Epstein files

Bill Clinton has been spotted in New York City just days after he was accused of ‘liking them young’ in recently unsealed Jeffrey Epstein documents.

The former president, 77, looked stony-faced as he collected his belongings from a black truck on Thursday.

He was previously holidaying in Latin America with his wife Hillary Clinton during the unsealing of the Epstein documents which began on January 3.

Clinton is named multiple times in the court papers – and although he is not accused of any wrongdoing, the documents shine an unwelcome spotlight on his friendship with the late pedophile financier.

One of Epstein’s victims, Johanna Sjoberg, claimed that Epstein told her Clinton ‘likes them young, referring to girls.’

Clinton, dressed in a brown suit, was seen exiting a vehicle while surrounded by secret service agents.

He was carrying a black duffel bag with his belongings before leaving the scene.

It comes after Clinton was referenced in files which were published as part of a 2015 lawsuit against Ghislaine Maxwell by one of Epstein’s victims, Virginia Roberts-Giuffre.

Clinton flew several times on Epstein’s private jet, and once publicly praised the financier’s intellect and philanthropic efforts.

Sjoberg testified in her deposition that she never met Clinton, and none of Epstein’s victims accuse Clinton of sexual impropriety.

Clinton has previously said through a spokesperson that while he traveled on Epstein’s jet he never visited his homes, had no knowledge of his crimes and hadn’t spoken to Epstein since his Florida conviction.

Other documents released included legal arguments over whether Clinton should be deposed.

Attorneys for Roberts-Giuffre – whose legal battles were the source of the court papers – argued the former president was a ‘key person who can provide information about his close relationship’ with Epstein.

Clinton and Hillary were avoiding all news of the documents during their holiday in Mexico, staying at the luxurious Four Seasons resort in Tamarindo, in the western state of Jalisco.

The secluded hotel, where rooms are $800 a night, is set among a 3,000-acre nature reserve and has six miles of private beach.

It also boasts a spa, golf course and ranch where much of the food for the restaurant is grown and raised.

The Clintons were seen on a golf buggy with Newsom, and the couples dined together.

Before traveling to Tamarindo, Clinton was spotted strolling through the streets of the popular tourist town of San Miguel de Allende, in Guanajuato – 500 miles inland from the beach resort.

Clinton was also in the Dominican Republic during the holidays.

On December 29, he was pictured alongside his wife Hillary, 76; the former president of Chile, Sebastián Piñera; and the former president of Mexico, Enrique Pena-Nieto.

The picture was taken in Punta Cana, in the Dominican Republic.

The image of the couple alongside Piñera was shared by Frank Elías Rainieri, a hotelier in the Dominican Republic.

Hillary Clinton was not known to spend time with Jeffrey Epstein, but her husband was a friend from at least 1993.

The pedophile financier made at least 17 visits to the White House, presidential logs show, and Clinton also flew on Epstein’s private jet – making trips to Europe, Asia and Africa in 2002 and 2003.

Clinton’s spokesman Angel Urena said in July 2019, when Jeffrey Epstein was arrested, that he ‘knows nothing about the terrible crimes’ that Epstein was accused of, and that Clinton had not spoken to Epstein ‘in more than a decade.’

It is unclear how Clinton and Epstein met.

On January 3, hours before the court documents were unsealed, Jeffrey Epstein’s brother Mark, a New York-based property developer, said his sibling claimed to have information about Donald Trump and Clinton which was so explosive it would derail the 2016 presidential election.

Mark Epstein, younger than Jeffrey by 18 months, said his brother never provided details.

Mark, 69, told The New York Post: ‘Here’s a direct quote: “If I said what I know about both candidates, they’d have to cancel the election”. That’s what Jeffrey told me in 2016.’

Epstein and Maxwell were pictured in 1993 greeting Clinton inside the White House, at an event for donors to the White House Historical Association. Epstein attended the event after donating $10,000 to the fund.

Mark Epstein said that flying with Clinton was a key mistake of his brother’s, because it suddenly shone a spotlight on his activities.

‘Jeff first took Clinton and I think it was Chris Tucker and some other people to Africa — which was a mistake my brother made by doing that, because prior to that he was under the radar; nobody was looking at him.

‘But when he flew Clinton there, it was like, ‘Who’s this guy flying Clinton?”

There is no evidence that Clinton ever visited Epstein’s Caribbean island, Little St. James.
