Colin Fassnidge has spoken about a terrifying health scare he had while filming the upcoming season of My Kitchen Rules.

The beloved TV chef, 50, told TV Week he visited the doctor after he began feeling ill and was told the issue may be more serious than he thought.

‘My stomach felt wrong and my doctor told me it could be bowel cancer. I had to have an operation but had to wait two weeks,’ he began.

‘I was on Google searching everything. You’re already dead once you’re on Google.’

Fortunately, the results showed he did not have cancer and Colin said the clean bill of health he was given gave him a fresh perspective on life.
