A MOTHER is pleading for her daughter’s safe return after the teen vanished from her home wearing just her pajamas and no shoes – cops fear the girl may be in grave danger.

Hydi Cain, 16, disappeared on January 7 in Fayetteville, Georgia – about 22 miles south of downtown Atlanta – after a possible “psychotic episode,” said police.

The teen is described as being 5’1 weighing 130 pounds with blonde hair, however, information from the City of Fayetteville Department of Public Safety suggested that Hydi may have dyed her hair black.

Hydi’s mother, Sidney Fyffe, has put up missing posters around the town in an effort to locate her missing child.

“‘Being a parent of an almost adult is the hardest thing I have ever done,” she wrote on Facebook. “They think they know what is out there. But they don’t.

“Y’all please help me bring my daughter home safe.”

Fyffe said police were involved in the investigation but there is still no word on where Hydi is.

“Her mom and little sister are worried sick,” said Fyffe.

Fyffe has been active in the search for her daughter, constantly sharing information on Facebook to bring awareness of Hydi’s disappearance.

“Please be ok. Please be safe. Please come home,” she wrote online.

Fyffe claimed that Hydi suffered a traumatic situation at work shortly before she vanished, adding that some stores in Fayetteville took down her flyers.

“Please keep pushing. I beg of all of you please bring my daughter home. I hope no one else has to feel this,” she wrote.

Searches have also been organized to find Hydi.

Anyone with any information on Hydi is asked to contact the Fayetteville Police Department or Crime Stoppers of Greater Atlanta.

People can text or call with any information at 404-445-9123.

The U.S. Sun has reached out to the Fayetteville Police Department and Sidney Fyffe for comment.
