(NewsNation) — The White House’s review of a report by the Department of Justice’s special counsel investigating President Joe Biden’s handling of classified documents is done, a spokesperson said Thursday.

Biden will not “assert privilege” over any part of the report, White House Counsel’s office spokesman Ian Sams said in a statement to NewsNation. This means the president himself will not ask for any redactions in the report, though there still might be some by the Justice Department on classified information.

Garland said he will make the report, written by special counsel Robert Hur, available to Congress and the public following the White House review.

Hur was appointed to investigate Biden after a handful of classified documents were discovered at his home in Delaware and a former Washington, D.C., office he used after leaving the White House.

In a letter obtained by NewsNation, Garland said he’s committed to making as much of the report public as possible.

Biden’s has maintained he did nothing wrong, with his team noting that lawyers quickly notified the National Archives and cooperated with the Justice Department after discovering the documents in his office at a University of Pennsylvania center in D.C.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
