VLADIMIR Putin will go on a “major killing spree” against his UK enemies after the death of Alexei Navalny, his British target number one has warned.

Bill Browder, who tops the Kremlin’s UK kill-list, now fears more Novichok-style nerve agent attacks on UK streets.

He believes there are at least a dozen Brits and Russians living in the UK who face assassination attempts.

The multi-millionaire financier and friend of Navalny, 59, told the Daily Mirror: “The murder of Alexei Navalny is a game changer for Putin.

“The fact he would kill the most popular and prominent opposition politician in plain sight without fear of repercussion says that people who are opposing Putin in Russia and abroad are now in much more serious risk of assassination.

“The killing of Alexei Navalny has shown Vladimir Putin has lost all restraint and that he will embark on a major international killing spree which will include against all of his enemies in the UK.

“I believe there are at least a dozen people in this country who are at risk and they will focus on the high-profile ones.

“Politicians are at risk too.”
