HOUSTON – The Houston Police Department released four videos Monday, showing officers responding to the deadly shooting at Lakewood Church on Feb. 11., our sister station KPRC in Houston reported.

One of the videos, which is a compilation of body-worn cameras of officers who responded to the scene, is nearly 30 minutes long.

In the first part of the video, about two minutes in, a Lakewood surveillance camera showed Genesse Moreno exiting her vehicle around 1:53 p.m. on Sunday, wearing a trench coat, and backpack and carrying what officers said was an assault-style rifle underneath. She then moved to the backseat of the vehicle, removing who is believed to be her 7-year-old son.

Moreno then attempted to enter Lakewood’s sanctuary, but the doors were locked.

Houston police said a volunteer at the church told an off-duty officer working security that Moreno was armed with a gun. The officers approached Moreno and they both exchanged gunfire.

About four minutes into the video, several people could be seen running inside Lakewood church, and shortly later, Moreno appeared in front of a set of doors.

A Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission Agent, also working security at the church, heard the gunfire and approached Moreno as she was firing at the other officer. The TABC agent fired his gun at her and she reportedly yelled, “Stop shooting,” and claimed to have a bomb. The agent then told Moreno to put her weapon down, but she refused. The TABC agent then fired his weapon again, striking Moreno.

She was pronounced dead at the scene. Her 7-year-old son was also struck during the exchange of gunfire. He is currently still in the hospital in critical condition.

A 47-year-old man was also shot in the hip. He was transported to the hospital and later released.

HPD Chief Troy Finner released the following statement amid the release of the body camera footage:
