Brian Mulroney, celebrated for his contributions as a Canadian lawyer, politician, and businessman, served as Canada’s 18th prime minister from 1984 to 1993.

Raised in a modest family in Quebec’s northern regions, Mulroney transcended his humble beginnings to achieve prominence in law and business.

His political journey as a Conservative led him to become prime minister in 1984. The Guardian reports that Brian Mulroney passed away at 84 in a Florida hospital.

Mulroney was esteemed for his diplomacy on major matters like free trade, acid rain, and dismantling apartheid in South Africa, though his reputation post-office was tarnished by accusations of financial misconduct and influence peddling.

Following a fall at his residence, he was hospitalized, as stated by a representative for his daughter Caroline, currently serving in Ontario’s Progressive Conservative government as a cabinet minister.

His daughter Caroline Mulroney confirmed his passing in peace, surrounded by his loved ones. Discussions about Brian Mulroney’s alleged plastic surgery and recent events concerning his health are addressed below.

Truth Behind Brian Mulroney Plastic Surgery Speculations: Before And After Insights

There hasn’t been significant speculation or concrete evidence regarding Brian Mulroney undergoing plastic surgery.

Yet, it’s important to understand that facts about private matters, such as cosmetic surgery, could surface or evolve with time.

Although Brian’s plastic surgery rumors remain unverified, it has been discovered that his wife, Mila Mulroney, is particular about her appearance.

Over a decade ago, Mila had plastic surgery to repair and minimize her nose after a vehicle mishap.

She openly admits to dying her hair auburn every three weeks to cover greys.

Maintaining her appearance involves brisk walks, aerobics, and a balanced diet.

Armstrong notes Mila Mulroney’s focus on her personal grooming and fashion is deeply rooted in her immigrant upbringing.

Born in Sarajevo, Yugoslavia, she moved to Montreal with her family when she was four. During her husband’s tenure, she became notably active in supporting children’s charities, exceeding the engagement seen from former spouses of Canadian prime ministers, and faced criticism for her lavish spending habits.

The Late Eventful Life of Former Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney

In February 2005, a routine medical scan revealed two small tumors in one of Mulroney’s lungs.

Reports suggest Mulroney had been a heavy smoker in his youth. Following a biopsy, it was confirmed he did not have cancer. Despite not attending in person, he managed to present a speech for the Conservative Party of Canada’s 2005 Policy Convention in Montreal in March, after recovering significantly.

He was later hospitalized with pancreatitis, and his son Ben Mulroney announced his recovery and discharge on April 19. In April 2023, news broke that Mulroney was recuperating after treatment for prostate cancer.

He recently spent time in hospital due to a fall at his Palm Beach home. On February 29, 2024, Mulroney’s passing at a Florida hospital was confirmed.

Mulroney’s legacy as seen in the endurance of his economic and free trade policies is acknowledged by him as a form of validation. According to his deputy prime minister, Don Mazankowski, Mulroney’s most significant contribution was “bringing Canada into the 21st century, albeit reluctantly.”
