Luann de Lesseps and Mary-Kate Olsen’s ex-husband, Olivier Sarkozy set tongues wagging with romance rumors after an intimate lunch date in the heart of New York City on Monday.

The former Real Housewives of New York star, 58, and the French banker, 54 — who split with Olsen in 2020 — were spotted arm in arm, leaving Le Bilboquet restaurant.

Rocking a fuzzy red jacket and black leather pants, the cabaret singer flashed her megawatt smile as she stayed close to her handsome date, who looked dapper in a dark suede jacket.

The pair enjoyed each other’s company for nearly two hours at the eatery, according to witnesses.

The outing comes a few days after the Countess revealed she went on a date with a 62-year-old male model, amid previous buzz that she was seeing Southern Hospitality personality Joe Bradley.

‘I actually had a date last night with a guy that’s 62-years-old but really attractive,’ de Lesseps told reporter Derek Zagami on his Instagram account.

She added of her recent suitor: ‘He continues to model to this day, does very well, is the salt-and-pepper gray.’

The star described the man who she went out as a ‘husband commercial type of guy, but very nice.’ 

Luann was recently linked with Southern Hospitality personality Bradley, 28, as an insider told Us Weekly last month that the two appeared to be cozy while spending time with one another at New York City’s Dream Hotel. 

The two were ‘all over each other,’ an insider said, after a January 24 Watch What Happens Live taping. 

She addressed the night out with her fellow Bravolebrity earlier this month while speaking to TMZ. 

‘We definitely had great chemistry and we went out to have drinks – what’s wrong with that?’ she told the outlet.

Acknowledging that Bradley has ‘got a girlfriend’ – he’s been seeing Summer House personality Danielle Olivera, 35 – de Lesseps conceded that they ‘definitely had great chemistry, let’s put it that way.’

During the reunion episode for Season Two of Southern Hospitality, Bradley discussed his relationship with de Lesseps. He acknowledged the presence of chemistry between them but clarified that there had been no physical intimacy. 

‘This is the truth – me and Luann got a drink, and we hit it off,’ Bradley said. ‘I did cross a line at the hotel, but I did not kiss her. We did not hook up.‘

Luann tied the knot with Count Alexandre de Lesseps, the man responsible for her noble title, in 1993. 

Their love story began as a whirlwind, with Luann reminiscing during a RHONY special episode in 2016, ‘After the fifth day, he said, ‘Marry me.’ I lived in a fairy tale, too good to be true.’

In the span of their 17-year marriage, they welcomed two children, Victoria and Noel. 

Notably, Luann was still married to the Count when RHONY Season 1 premiered in 2008. However, the following year marked the end of their union as they decided to part ways.

She would go on to marry Tom D’Agostino Jr. after being introduced by her RHONY co-star Dorinda Medley.

However, less than a year after their New Year’s Eve nuptials in 2016, Luann and Tom decided to part ways.

Meanwhile, Olivier tied the knot with renowned actress and fashion mogul Mary Kate in 2015. 

The former couple had initially married during a small, intimate ceremony, with the former actress later petitioning for divorce in April 2020. 

According to The U.S. Sun, the day after filing, Mary-Kate had requested an emergency divorce order upon claiming that Sarkozy was forcing her to vacate their home. Nine months after splitting, their divorce was finalized in January 2021. 

Although the two never had children of their own, the businesswoman had become stepmother to Olivier’s two kids, Margot and Julien, whom he welcomed from a previous marriage to Charlotte Bernard. 

Back in 2017, the star briefly opened up to Porter Magazine about her rather private life as a wife and mother. ‘We’re lucky [working hard] comes quite naturally for us,’ she stated at the time. 

‘We don’t need so much time to sit and think and ponder. But then I have a husband, two step-kids and a life. I have to go home and cook dinner.’ 

Olsen added, ‘I ride horses on the weekends. You find the thing that helps you relax and if you don’t have it, you have to look for it. Or you get burned out and then you’re not productive.’ 

At the time of the divorce announcement, a source informed People about the reasonings behind the separation, stating that the topic of children was one of the issues. ‘A few years ago, having a baby was not a priority for her. This has changed.’

Another insider stated that her career was also a problem within the relatioship. ‘Mary-Kate is extremely hard working and focused on her business.’ 

Their union garnered attention due to the significant age gap of about 17 years, with Olsen being born in 1986 and Sarkozy in 1969.

However, after nearly five years of marriage, the couple filed for divorce in 2020.
