Daniel Hagari’s Departure: Has He Exited the IDF: Daniel Hagari Resignation has caught the attention as false reports of a ‘mass resignation’ in the IDF spokesperson’s unit are circulating widely on social media.

Despite their inaccuracy, the misinformation has been actively shared across various platforms, including Reddit, Threads, Twitter, and Facebook.

The IDF spokesperson’s unit remains unaffected by the deceptive reports from Israel’s Channel 14.

It suggested that several high-ranking officials have resigned from the army during the ongoing conflict in Gaza.

Numerous officials in the IDF spokesperson’s unit, including the “number two,” Col. Shlomit Muller-Butbul, have allegedly announced their resignations simultaneously amid the conflict.

Daniel Hagari Resignation: Did He Leave The IDF?

There is a widespread dissemination of a fabricated report claiming mass resignations within the IDF spokesperson’s unit due to issues related to the ongoing conflict in Gaza.

The original text has been altered by various authors to suggest that officials are resigning in protest against their involvement in the conflict.

It is mentioned that some posts falsely attributed personal objections to being “implicit in genocide.”

Notably, there are also misleading reports, falsely asserting that IDF spokesperson Daniel Hagari has resigned from his position.

The news mentioned, Chief of the Israeli occupation army’s Spokesperson’s Unit, Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, has allegedly resigned amid the ongoing Israeli conflict with Palestinians in Gaza.

According to Tamir Morag of the Israeli website Now 14, several other senior officers in the unit have also submitted their resignations.

The Spokesperson’s Unit is responsible for disseminating information about the Israeli occupation army.

It is also mentioned, Moran Katz, the second-in-command of Hagari’s team and a civilian spokeswoman for the Israeli occupation army with the rank of colonel, has also resigned.

General Richard Hecht, the Israeli army’s spokesperson for foreign media affairs, has also resigned after allegedly receiving harsh notice of his replacement.

Additionally, Merav Granot and Tzupia Moshkovich resigned due to not receiving a promotion.

Due to the sensitivity and unverified nature of this information, it is challenging to make predictions or draw conclusions about the situation.

Individuals must exercise caution and verify the information from reliable sources before forming any opinions or beliefs about the reported events.

Who Is Daniel Hagari?

Before his role of spokesperson for the Israeli occupation army, Hagari had previously commanded the Shayetet 13 marine commando unit and served as an assistant to Chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkot.

He had also been the head of the office for the then Chief of Staff, Benny Gantz, who is now a member of parliament.

Hagari’s appointment as the army spokesperson, despite not having served in the unit, raised questions among people.

It also caused unrest within the unit due to his connections with former chiefs of staff associated with a particular political party.

Journalist Tamir Morag highlighted that in a military regime, officials sometimes retire without a specific reason upon reaching retirement age.

However, the simultaneous resignation of several officials during a wartime situation is considered unusual.
