– Liz Anjorin and Iyabo Ojo, two popular Nigerian actresses, have finally reconciled after a long-standing feud.
In September 2023, Lizzy Anjorin accused celebrities of using Mohbad’s passing to gain attention, a statement that Iyabo Ojo felt was aimed at her.

The actresses then engaged in a public spat on social media, trading barbs and insults. The feud intensified in February 2024 when Lizzy Anjorin accused Iyabo Ojo of setting her up in a fraudulent gold transaction and clothing deal at Idumota market in Lagos.
This led to Iyabo Ojo filing a defamation lawsuit against Lizzy Anjorin, seeking N500 million in damages. Lizzy Anjorin did not appear at the initial court hearing, resulting in court notices being posted at her residence.
Recently, the presiding judge, Justice Olabisi Akinlade, acted as a mediator and successfully reconciled the actresses. The judge offered motherly advice, encouraging both women to cease their online conflict and embrace peace.

Iyabo Ojo confirmed the reconciliation, stating that the judge told them to put an end to their arguments and derogatory remarks about each other on social media and to embrace peace instead.
A video circulating online shows Iyabo and Lizzy smiling as they left the court together. Lizzy’s husband approached Iyabo and gave her a hug, symbolizing the restored harmony.
The reconciliation comes a month after their senior colleagues, Taiwo ‘Ogogo’ Hassan and Yinka Quadri, squashed their own long-standing beef at actor Yomi Fabiyi’s housewarming and birthday party.
