Is Gypsy Rose Blanchard Pregnant?
Gypsy Rose Blanchard, 32, said that she’s expecting her first child with boyfriend Ken Urker.
In a July 9 YouTube video, Blanchard declared, “I’m happy to announce that I am 11 weeks pregnant. Ken and I will have our first child in January 2025.” Both of us are ecstatic. This was very unexpected and not at all planned.”
Her surprising news comes just over three months after she filed for divorce from ex Ryan Anderson, and subsequently began dating Urker again after their initial 2018 engagement.
“We’re both very excited to take on this new journey of parenthood,” Blanchard said. “I have already felt the effects. The cravings were the first thing I noticed when I found out I was pregnant,” Blanchard said.
The 32-year-old continued by explaining that her craving for orange juice was the first indication she might have been expecting.
Blanchard said, “I didn’t think anything of it,” adding that she had been visiting a reproductive doctor for problems she was experiencing. “When I missed my period, I thought I was having issues with ovulation.”
Following her release from prison in December, Blanchard, who has accused her mother Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard of years of abuse through Munchausen syndrome by proxy, has shared details of her life with her followers. Blanchard was sentenced to two years in prison for the 2015 murder of her mother. Being a “guiding light” for other people who are Munchausen by proxy sufferers is also a component of it.
“All that I can do now is put the pieces of my life back together and make myself a better person than I was when I went to prison,” Gypsy Rose told E! News. “Try to do some good in the world.”
Who Is Gypsy Rose Blanchard?
Born on July 27, 1991, Gypsy-Rose Blanchard is a Munchausen-by-proxy survivor.
After being found guilty of second-degree murder in Springfield, Missouri, for the death of her mother Dee Dee Blanchard, who had abused Gypsy-Rose physically, psychologically, and medically, she gained international notoriety. She received a ten-year prison sentence.
After serving eight years, she was granted parole at the end of December 2023. Gypsy received a lot of media attention because of the dramatic parts of her early life, such as her mother making her act as though she was crippled and terminally ill.
While she was incarcerated, Hulu developed the limited series The Act (2019), which was released. Several TV shows, including Dr. Phil, have interviewed her, and other series have been based on her life story. Gypsy Rose: Life After Lockup, her reality show, debuted on Lifetime in 2024.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s Husband
While in prison, Blanchard got engaged to a man named Ken Urker, whom she met through a pen pal program. They subsequently ended their relationship.
In July 2022, she married Louisiana teacher Ryan Anderson in a prison ceremony with no guests.
She filed for divorce from Ryan Anderson and she is currently pregnant with Ken Urker three months after leaving her ex-husband Ryan Anderson.
