A BRITISH TikTok star is believed to have taken her own life after being sent a “suicide kit” she bought online, an inquest heard.

Imogen Nunn – known to her 780,000 followers as Deaf Immy – had spoken to police on the day she died.

The 25-year-old had bought a chemical online allegedly supplied by Kenneth Law, 57, who is facing trial in Canada next year in relation to a number of deaths.

Imogen was discovered dead in Brighton, East Sussex, on January 1, 2023.

A pre-inquest hearing heard the deaf influencer, who highlighted hearing and mental health issues, spoke to police on the day of the tragedy.

Details of the phone call were not made public but will be made the subject of a full inquest.

She had previously been visited by officers at her flat in November 2022 after admitting to a community care worker she had bought a substance and was intending to end her life.

But Imogen denied purchasing the chemical and Sussex Police took no action.

Her parents Ray and Louise Nunn were left heartbroken after they discovered their daughter had been visited by police months after her death.

It was feared a full inquest would not go ahead for years due to legal proceedings against Law in Canada.

But the Crown Prosecution Service and the police have ruled the hearing would not affect the outcome of criminal proceedings.

Penelope Schofield, senior coroner for West Sussex, said: “The CPS and police are not making a formal request for this matter to be suspended.

“The inquest can answer the statutory questions without awaiting a prosecution in Canada.”

Ex-aerospace engineer Law is accused of running an online business that sent “suicide kits” to vulnerable people worldwide.

He has been linked to at least four other deaths in the UK and one in the US.

Law is due to stand trial in the Autumn charged with second-degree murder.

Imogen reported obtained the substance from Law’s website, which has since been taken down.

Her mum Louise previously said: “The police should have taken notice earlier when it was first flagged up.

“We want justice for our child and we want answers.”

A full inquest into Imogen’s death is due to take place next March.
