() A new lawsuit against a Beverly Hills obstetrician-gynecologist brings the total number of alleged sexual abuse victims to 167.

The additional plaintiffs join 60 other former patients who are accusing Dr. Barry J. Brock, 74, of “sexually exploitative and abusive behavior, dating back several decades,” the lawsuit says.

Brock was a member of the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center until 2018 and had clinical privileges there until last year. The lawsuit claims Cedars-Sinai and other medical practices concealed his actions.

“Brock has been allowed to continue injuring, exploiting, and abusing patients under the guise of medical care at Cedars-Sinai from 1979 through August of 2024,” the suit says.

He was suspended in July and his hospital privileges were terminated months later.

Former patients, who filed the suit Dec. 27 in Los Angeles County Superior Court, accuse the OBGYN of making inappropriate comments and touching them in violating ways.

Conducting vaginal examinations without wearing gloves, fondling women’s clitorises, using examination instruments in inappropriate ways and making sexual comments are some of the allegations.

Brock retired in August, according to the lawsuit obtained by the Los Angeles Times.

“The type of behavior alleged about Dr. Barry Brock is counter to Cedars-Sinai’s core values and the trust we strive to earn every day with our patients,” a Cedars-Sinai spokesperson said to the LA Times. “Dr. Brock no longer has privileges to practice medicine at Cedars-Sinai, and we have reported this matter to the California Medical Board.”
