How much snow did the Kansas City metro get?

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City-area residents woke up to several inches of snow Sunday morning, with more falling throughout the day into Monday.

Although the snowfall has stopped, the roads and highways throughout the metro remain dangerous with snow and underlying ice.

We can expect cold temperatures to stick around throughout the week, making it difficult for the snow to melt.

Here are snow reports the National Weather Service has received from across the metro; we chose centralized locations in each city.

After this storm system, the Kansas City area has another chance of snow later this week.
